Role responsibilities
Responsible for build, unit/system testing and implementation of in-house information development projects
Typical required deliverables are
SQL Queries
SQL data structures (tables, databases, stored procedures etc.)
SQL Integration packages (SSIS)
SSAS Model Development (DAX)
GIT Branch manipulation
Development of data structures and processes which improve information access and processes for business
Documentation of Requirements and Design details of projects worked on
Minimum requirements
Related Bachelor’s degree or Diploma.
At least 8 years’ production experience with MSSQL suite which includes:
SQL – Strong skills required here
SSIS (Integration Services) – Required
SSRS (Reporting Services) – Required
SSAS (Analysis Services, DAX) – Required
GIT – Desired
Strong attentiveness to query performance, data quality, dispensation and manipulation.
Skills, and characteristics (add if applicable)
Self-driven, quality and results-oriented with an ability to work well under pressure
Able to own the technical delivery of the project and work autonomously and as a team
Strong, clear and precise verbal and written communication skills
Analytical, methodical and detail orientated
Be able to prioritize and handle many tasks
Great attention to detail
Strong skills in improving existing code
Reliable, determined, hardworking
Have proficient specification and design documentation experience
