Our aim is simple: to make it easier for you to find real opportunities.
No. WorkScout is not a recruitment agency or a job agency. We do not recruit, interview, shortlist or place candidates, and we do not recruit on behalf of any company or agency. Only the employer who posted a job decides who is hired.
From companies’ own career pages and recruitment systems, and from other legitimate job sources in South Africa and other countries. Each listing names the company and links to the original job post.
Open the job and read the requirements, then click the apply button. It takes you straight to the original job post on the employer’s own website or recruitment system, and you apply directly to the employer there.
Yes. Searching for jobs and using the apply links on WorkScout is free. If anyone asks you to pay to apply for a job or to be hired, do not pay, and report it to us.
No. We do not collect CVs or pass applications on to employers. Always apply on the employer’s own website using the job’s apply button.
No. You can search jobs and use every apply link without creating an account on WorkScout.
No. Your application goes straight to the employer, so WorkScout never receives it. Any confirmation or feedback comes from the employer. Keep a copy of what you sent and the job link.
Follow the WorkScout WhatsApp channel to see new jobs as they are posted.
Use the location box in the job search, or browse jobs by category, town or province. You can also browse learnerships and internships.
Do not pay and do not send your ID number or bank details. Use our contact form, choose “Report a suspicious vacancy” and paste the job link. We review reports and remove fake listings.
Yes. See Advertise a Job for listing options and prices. Paid promotions are always labelled. Listing a vacancy does not make WorkScout part of your hiring process: candidates apply to you directly.
