How some links on WorkScout earn a commission, and what that means for you.

WorkScout is free for job seekers. To help cover the cost of running the site, some links on WorkScout are affiliate links.

What this means

If you click an affiliate link and then sign up or buy something, the company may pay WorkScout a commission. Using our link does not add any WorkScout charge; the price is set by the company you buy from.

Which links are affiliate links

On our Career Resources page and the homepage, affiliate links are marked “Affiliate link” or “Partner”. They currently include links to Coursera, edX, Alison, Resume.io, TopResume, TopCV and TopStack Resume. Our Skills & side hustles page also contains affiliate and referral links, including SkillWealth and products sold through ClickBank. GET HIRED is WorkScout’s own guide, so buying it pays WorkScout directly.

What we promise

  • Paid promotions (Featured jobs, Urgent hiring and Featured employers) are always labelled. Employers can also pay us to publish a standard job listing; paying for a standard listing does not move it up the search results.
  • We only recommend services we think are relevant to job seekers.
  • No course, CV service or guide can guarantee you a job, an interview or a salary increase.
