We are looking for a professional and influential team player, who can add significant value to the HR function of the business unit. The position is an exciting and challenging opportunity that will require the successful candidates to contribute significantly to enabling the diverse campaigns’ people objectives & growth plans.Kindly note that this will be a Night Shift / Graveyard Shift position.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:1. RecruitmentPartnering with Hiring Managers and Recruitment to ensure quality placements (bulk & leadership positions)2. Employee Induction & On-boardingInduction and On-boarding of all new hires3. Employee EngagementEnsuring that all employee queries are managed and resolved in a proactive and timely manner to ensure a climate of high performance and positive moralePartnering with Operations to:Implement & maintain the Company’s People StrategyEnable and drive reward and recognitionImplement surveys, communicate results, draft, implement and track action plans4. Talent ManagementPartnering with Operations to ensure that:Job profiles and KPIs are in place, easily accessible and maintained/updated for all positionsPerformance appraisals are implemented, tracked and calibrated effectively as per the quarterly cyclesPersonal Development Plans are in place for each team memberProbation is effectively managed with all new startersProviding feedback and coaching to ensure that all managers have the skills and competencies to manage and lead their people effectively5. Retention ManagementPartnering with Operations to:Reduce attrition by actively reaching out to employees and engaging through various touch points (regular skip meetings, one-on-one meetings, team meetings etc.) to ensure quick resolution of issuesIdentifying and addressing barriers to retention Conducing exit interviews and post-exit follow-ups and reporting on trends6. IR, ER, Discipline ManagementPartnering with Operations to effectively:Facilitate the resolution of conflict.Manage and resolve misconduct, poor performance, incapacity and incompatibility cases Manage and reduce absenteeismCCMA case management and representing the company at the CCMAFacilitating effective S189A redeployment of employees (when applicable)7. HR Administration, Analytics and ReportingCompiling, maintaining and analysing HR analytics in order to optimize decision-makingFacilitating efficient, timeous and accurate HR & IR administration & documentationCompiling reports & decks for internal MBR/QBRs & external Business Reviews with clientsQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREDRelevant tertiary qualificationMinimum of 3 years’ HR generalist experiencePreference will be given to candidates with BPO/call center experienceExperience in and a sound understanding of best practices in the following categories:Employee Relations & IRPerformance ManagementLeadership CoachingHR Analytics & ReportingJob AnalysisRecruitment & selection for bulk, as well as leadership positions (including exposure to competency-based selection tools)Organisational DevelopmentTalent ManagementEmployee EngagementA solid working knowledge of the latest Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) A sound working knowledge of all SA labour legislation Sound business acumenAdditional InformationThe ability to:to work in a night shift environment & hourswork in close partnership with relevant business partners and COEs giving professional and expert advice on HR & IR best practicesdemonstrate sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities, together with good judgmentinspire confidence and positively influence othersbe flexible, function under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in all circumstancesmanage confidential information with utmost discretionimplement change management initiatives effectively and efficiently work to deadlines and have lots of drive to effectively deal with numerous and complex issues and priorities; sound time management skills are therefore also very important.be innovative and show initiativebe accurate and pay excellent attention to detailcommunicate effectively at all levels both within, as well as outside the company deliver results with a strong “sense of urgency” manage and lead others
