Minimum Requirements:
National Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Public Administration or relevant equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
1 – 3 years’ experience in a supply chain management environment
Core Responsibilities:
Specialise in, report and advise on general supply chain management related activities for the Department
Measure SCM performance in terms of suppliers of goods and services the SCM unit & service delivery realisation and/or value for money
Develop SCM performance management system and implement it in accordance with Departmental policies and procedures and applicable legislative requirements
Support the supply chain management processes, ensuring that demand management, procurement of goods remain in line with relevant policies
Develop and ensure effective implementation of supply chain and procurement methods
Implement and provide input into governance and risk management processes, systems and legislation
Ensure that financial administration delivery processes comply with internal control and governance standards and report on any deviations
Contribute to effective operations management service delivery within the division through compliance with the Batho Pele principles
