This position will be part of the dynamic team based at Ngezi Concentrator Engineering reporting to the Foreman – Mechanical.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Apprentice trained Class 1 Fitter 5 ‘O’ level passes including Mathematics, English and ScienceA recognised technical qualification in mechanical engineering preferably National Certificate. An HND/ND or City and Guilds would be an added advantage5 years’ post-apprenticeship experience in maintenance of mining processing equipment in a heavy engineering environmentKnowledge of planned, preventative maintenance systemsFamiliarity with Zimplats Management System and SAP will be added advantages
CORE COMPETENCIES:
A self-starter with excellent interpersonal, planning and problem-solving skillsSupervision experience is a must
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carrying out routine and scheduled maintenance workMaintaining all plant machinery and equipmentProviding supervision and enforcing standards as per statutory requirements and standard work procedures Supporting and implementing the Business Management System (BMS)
