Minimum Requirements:
Relevant Business Degree or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
2 – 5 years’ experience in a research environment
Proven track record in research and analysis
Core Responsibilities:
Provide an effective research and advisory service to allocated both MMC and Chairpersons as well as members of Caucus in general
Strategic capability and leadership to enhance Departmental accountability and Oversight Committee functions of oversight and scrutiny
Conduct research to develop and implement innovative ideas and solutions that add value to the organisation
Research, benchmark, analyse and make recommendations on best practices, enabling continuous improvement and Departmental accountability
Develop, monitor and report on research benchmarks for Local Government
Constantly monitor the integrity and quality of data to ensure that the correct information is fed back to business and practice owners
Ensure that completed work adhere to governance and legislative requirements
Adhere to specified standards, policies and SOPs to prevent and reduce wastage on financial resources and escalate associated risk
Provide authoritative, specialist expertise and advice to internal and external customers
