POS Key Account Manager: Telecommunications
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Location: Johannesburg
To provide an end-to-end support to POS Distributors in Johannesburg, ensuring growth of POS sales through current and new Distributors.
This role is all about being proactive, as well as reactive. You’ll be used to creating opportunities within accounts and managing an ongoing pipeline as well as offering exceptional service on a day-to-day basis.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
Key Account Management of Distributors to ensure they are achieving targets within set budget.
Log necessary tickets and support queries for distributors to ensure timeous feedback and operational efficiencies for distributors are implemented.
Bring on new business by identifying new distributors in your region.
Sales Performance per distributor with reasons for variance and commentary on action plans and sales initiatives.
Key performance indicators:
Distributors KPIs are managed weekly and monthly to achieve sales and activity targets
Ensure product suite is sold through your distributors where applicable.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Must be computer literate with sound knowledge of all Microsoft office applications
Ability to manage and resolve queries timeously
Knowledge of all Corporate and Commercial Solutions Products & Services and processes will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Customer relations management fundamentals
Knowledge of all reporting systems (Salesforce, etc.)
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Matric (Essential)
Diploma/Certificate in Sales/Marketing
