Afrimat Nkomati Anthracite, based in Sikhwahlane (Mpumalanga) has a vacancy for a:
Articulated Dump Truck (ADT) Operator
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Grade 12 / Matric
Valid ADT Operator Certificate
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience operating an ADT in an open-cast coal mining environment
Valid Medical Certificate of Fitness
Valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage
Good understanding of mining safety standards and operational procedures
Candidates must be medically fit to perform duties in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
Operate the ADT safely and efficiently in coal mining operations
Conduct pre-start inspections and complete relevant checklists
Report equipment defects, unsafe conditions, and incidents promptly
Load, haul, and dump material as instructed by Supervisors
Adhere to all Mine Health and Safety regulations, policies, and procedures
Maintain housekeeping standards on equipment and in work areas
Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions
Ensure compliance with production and operational requirements
