Role responsibilities
Transmission Line Design role available for both Distribution and Transmission lines for design of structures associated with overhead powerlines and foundations.
Work will include:
Completing projects within require budget
Model powerlines in PLS CADD
Model poles in PLS CADD
Design pole/tower for power lines
Design pole/tower foundations
Interpret geotechnical study results
Develop design package including design criteria, report, BOQ, structure drawings, foundation drawings, stringing charts, plan and profile drawings
Be able to study new standards and Scope of work and interpret them
Minimum requirements
BEng/BTech Civil or Mechanical
3-5 years project experience
Previous experience with PLS CADD and/or Transmission lines preferred
Skills, and characteristics (add if applicable)
PLS-CADD, -POLE or -TOWERs experience
Independent worker
Basic project co-ordination knowledge
