How it works
- Create a free account. You only need a username, email address and password.
- Choose a job and add your CV. Pick a WorkScout job or paste any advert, then upload or paste your CV.
- Apply with confidence. See what the job asks for, what your CV already shows and what to fix, then apply on the employer’s own website.
Questions
Is the Career Hub free?
Yes. Creating an account, saving jobs, the tracker, the CV match score, Scam Shield and career guides are free. Interview Prep, cover letters and the CV improvement report are part of the optional Pro pass, which never renews or charges you automatically.
What happens to my CV?
Phone numbers, email addresses and ID numbers are removed before our AI provider (Cloudflare) reads your CV. Only the report is saved in your account, for a limited time, and you can delete your data in Settings at any time. Your CV is never sent to employers.
Will the AI make up experience for me?
No. Every strength, sentence and suggested answer must match something in your own CV. Anything we cannot match is removed, and you are asked to use your own real example instead.
Is WorkScout a recruitment agency?
No. WorkScout lists vacancies from employers and other legitimate sources. You always apply on the employer’s own website or by the method in the advert.
WorkScout does not recruit and never charges you to apply for a job. Job search, saved jobs, the CV match score, Scam Shield and a preview of every report are free. Full reports from the CV tools, cover letters and Interview Prep are part of the optional Pro pass (R49 for 30 days), with a free full report every 30 days. We never add qualifications or experience you do not have.
